I truly love being in my clinic
and practising my trade.
In my early twenties I studied for three years at The College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwickshire to gain my degree in Traditional Acupuncture. Upon qualifying in 2007 I set up my acupuncture business, renting a room within a physiotherapy clinic in Marlborough Road in Banbury.
In 2010 I added massage to my qualifications; learning holistic massage from the Cotswold Academy in Cirencester, and then clinical sports and remedial massage from the Oxford School of Sports Massage in 2011. Over the years I added abdominal-sacral massage, facial massage, facial revitalisation acupuncture, pregnancy massage, and baby massage instructor training to my qualifications. I also developed a special interest in acupuncture for fertility, attending various seminars and reading a lot around the topic. I became a Zita West affiliated fertility acupuncturist from 2010-2015.
In 2014 I moved my business to my own space in Bloxham Mill Business Centre, and then a year later in 2015 I took some time off to have my gorgeous little boy and enjoy maternity leave with him. I reopened my clinic in 2016 from my cosy yet professional clinic in the Cherwell Heights area of Banbury, gradually building my work back up, but still spending lots of time with my little one until he started school in September 2019. So much gratitude goes out to all my lovely patients who came back! I now work Monday to Friday during school hours.
I enjoy reading a lot about spirituality and mindfulness, nutrition and good health, and try to put this into practice. I enjoy attending a local wellbeing networking group, and I facilitate a group of local acupuncturists getting together bimonthly for our Four Shires Acupuncture Network meetups.
I love spending time with my family, and singing in choirs.
